On March 31, 2015, ROBLOX officially confirmed that they are making a game in virtual reality and that they will make a demo by the end of summer.

On May 26, 2018, a group of former Roblox moderators started a petition on change.org asking for Roblox to rehire them after they were fired. The petition currently has over 8000 signatures and the former moderators were promised that they would be getting jobs back at Roblox if their petition reached 10,000 signatures.

Roblox has been criticized for allowing other companies to make games on their site such as "Mining Simulator", which is a game that contains copyrighted material from BeamNG.drive, and "Brain Simulator", which is a clear clone of Brain Cube which was also created by the same person who created Brain Simulator, and copyrighted material from several other games such as Robloxian Highschool and Backyard Zombies.

ROBLOX uses cookies, a small piece of data containing a unique identification number that is sent to the user's browser from the web server and stored on the user's computer hard drive. By storing on the hard drive, ROBLOX is able to recall user preferences and settings, such as game scores or user names.
